Jelena Abbou was born in Serbia. She lived in Gornji Milanovac with her parents and sister. At age 20 she left this small town for the state to pursue her life dream, to become a fitness model.
Needles to say, Jelena experienced difficulties on her first years on the new country. Living in a new culture and learning new language are some of the challenge she needed to face. However, she never gave up for her dream, she never stopped training and always took care of her body and health.
When she met Marko, her training partner, who then also became her husband, Jelena was really driven to compete in a fitness contest and ready to take the first step for reaching her dream. Together with Marko, she became personal trainer
Jelena Abbou competed for the first time in NPC, and she got fifth rank. The next day she sent her photos to some fitness magazines and model agencies. Finally she got her first call, got her first photo shoot for Oxygen, and since then she had appeared on various magazines, Tv commercials, and infomercial.
